When I google the Internet for web hosting, 40,800,000 result show up, some offer free web hosting service and some require you to pay to receive the service. All of sudden, deciding which service best fit your website become something like the impossible mission. Many people will then go with free hosting company, why? because they are free, but what they didn't realize is that they might have made a big mistake, want to know what they miss, read on.

When you are deciding which web hosting service to use, you have to ask you what type of website you are going to build, if it is a personal website, then you are better off with the free web hosting service, but if your website is like this website, you must go with the paid web hosting company, if not, you will suffer the consequence in the future which could lead to the down fall of the website that you build.

• Another flaw with free web hosts is many don't allow FTP access which is an obstacle if you have many files to upload.
• Very few free web hosts offer a control panel with their plans
• Poor customer service, it might take them longer than 48 hours to reply to your question, sometime, not at all.

Paid Web hosting:

Advantages:

• Almost all the paid web host company offer 24 hours support
• Most of paid web host company allow you to register a domain name for free, remember, this time, the domain name belong to you, you can do whatever you want with it, some people even sell it to other.
• With the more disk space and data transfer you get with paid hosting, you can add more files to your website and it can handle more traffic. Additional space and data transfer will be a lot cheaper than free web host company.
• The majority of paid web hosting plans support most of the popular programming languages such as PHP, ASP, CGI/Perl, Coldfusion and JSP.

Disadvantages:

• It is not free, that is the only disadvantage of paid web hosting service.
